How To Make A Tapa Cloth By Pace
Equipment
* Cotton buds
* Paint brush
* Pencil
* 30cm x 30cm brown paper
* 1 x Black Vivid marker
* Rubber
* Brown dye
* Bleach
* Ruler

1. Rule up paper every 3 cm across and downwards, ensuring there are 10 squares going across and 10 squares going down.
2. Draw patterns with a pencil. These could be of flowers, Koro, Tongan arrows.
3. Trace over the pencil using it a black vivid.

4. Rub out the pencil lines.
5. Scrunch up the paper about 10 times.

6. Dye over the brown paper.
7. Bleach over the parts of the Tapa that you would like white.

8. Let the Tapa dry and hang it onto the wall.

Yes I am pleased about my Tapa because its representing Tonga, Maori, and Samoa.
2. What did you find easy when you were creating your Tapa?My flowers because I think they really stand out.
